Vanraure Hachinohe ( Japanese ヴ ァ ン ラ ー レ 八 戸 Vanrāre Hachinohe ) is a Japanese football club from Hachinohe in Aomori Prefecture . He has been playing in the J3 League since 2019 .

history

The club was founded in 2006 as a merger between Hachinohe Kōgyō Old Boys ( 八 戸 工業 OB , Hachinohe Technical Old Boys ) - a team of former students of the "Hachinohe Technical High School" ( 青森 県 立 八 戸 工業 高等学校 Aomori kenritsu Hachinohe kōgyō kōtō gakkō ) - and the Nango FC ( 南 郷 FC , Nangō Efu Shī ) from the village of Nangō , which was incorporated into Hachinohe in 2005 . Vanraure was incorporated directly into Division 2, North Season of the Tōhoku - Regionalliga and initially held there for several years, but without appearing on a large scale.

On March 11, 2011, the city of Hachinohe, like the entire Tōhoku region, was devastated by a strong earthquake followed by a tsunami . As a result, the Division 2 season was shortened; Both seasons of the division were merged and promotion to Division 1 was suspended - to the chagrin of Vanraure, who won the championship this season of all times. The missed promotion was made up a year later; after a second place in the regular season you could prevail in the promotion playoff against Cobaltore Onigawa .

In the new league, Vanraure was runner-up in 2013 and only had to let Grulla Morioka go ahead. The strong athletic performance, however, in connection with the successful application for the status of the J. League Centennial Plan Club, ensured renewed promotion, this time as a successor in the Japan Football League, which was decimated by the founding of the J3 League . After a year of familiarization with the JFL, they won the first half series in 2015 , which entitles them to participate in the championship finals. There they lost against Sony Sendai after an even game played on penalties . At the end of the 2017 season , Vanraure Hachinohe narrowly missed the fourth place required for promotion, before finally qualifying for the J3 League a year later with third place.
