The Fujieda MyFC is a football club financed by online donations, which has played in the J3 League since 2014 . The association based in Fujieda is the first of its kind in Japan .
history
The club was founded in 2004 under the name Nelson Yoshimura Clube de Futebol in memory of the previously deceased footballer Nelson Yoshimura. Since 2008, the club has been under the leadership of soccer enthusiasts as part of the myFC concept, who can control the club's fortunes via the Internet. That is why it was renamed.
The first Fujieda club to play nationally was Fujieda Municipal Wiesteria , the Fujieda City Hall team that played in the Japan Soccer League Division 2 in 1988 . In 1991, the team of the locally based security company Chūō Bōhan, who played in the Japan Football League , followed until they moved to Kyushu in 1994 and went up in what is now Avispa Fukuoka .
The team was briefly coached in 2009 by former international Kunishige Kamamoto .
With the acquisition of Shizuoka FC from the Tokai Football League Division 1 in 2010, the club became Shizuoka Fujieda MyFC. Most of the games are played in Fujieda. Unlike the city of Shimizu , which also shares its borders with Shizuoka, Fujieda has not been integrated into the prefecture capital.
With promotion to the Japan Football League in 2011, Fujieda MyFC became the third club in the city to join a national league. In the 2014 season , the team was one of the founding members of the J3 League .
