Kenta Hoshihara ( Japanese 星 原 健 太 Hoshihara Kenta ; born May 1, 1988 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Hoshihara learned to play football in the youth team of Gamba Osaka . He signed his first contract with Gamba Osaka in 2007. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2010 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club. For the club he completed eight first division games. In August 2012 he was loaned to the second division Mito HollyHock . For the club he completed 11 league games. In 2013 he returned to the second division Gamba Osaka. In 2013 he won the J2 League championship with the club . He played two league games for the club. In 2014 he moved to league competitor Giravanz Kitakyushu . For the club he completed 102 league games. In 2017 he moved to league rivals Matsumoto Yamaga FC .
