Annemieke Kiesel (* the thirtieth November 1979 in Kockengen than Annemieke Griffioen ) is a Dutch football coach and former - spielerin . The midfielder was most recently under contract with Bundesliga club FCR 2001 Duisburg . From 1995 to 2011 she was a member of the Dutch national team and is a record player with 156 games.

Career

Player

She started her career at OSV Nita when she was seven. Via CSW Wilnis, she moved to SV Saestum in 1994 , with whom she won six championships in seven years between 1996 and 2002. In addition, she won three cups with Saestum and was voted the best player in the Hoofd class in 2003 . In 2004 she made a brief stint with the Charlotte Eagles in the USA before playing for the Bristol Rovers in the FA Women's Premier League in the 2004/05 season . In 2005 she moved to the Bundesliga club FCR 2001 Duisburg. With Duisburg she was German runner-up in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010 and reached the cup final in 2007 . In 2009 she won the UEFA Women's Cup and the DFB Cup with the Lionesses .

Kiesel made her debut in 1995 at the age of 16 in the Dutch national team , for which she played 156 times. With the Dutch national team, she qualified for a European Championship for the first time in 2009, where she made it to the semi-finals with her teammates and only lost 2-1 in extra time to England. At the 2001 Universiade in Beijing , she won the silver medal with the Dutch team. On April 3, 2011, she made her 155th international match against Scotland and announced to retire after the season. She managed to score 5: 1 (final score 6: 2). Her last match in Orange was against North Korea on May 18, 2011.

For the 2011/12 season she became assistant coach at VVV-Venlo .

After VVV-Venlo withdrew from women's football, she returned to FCR Duisburg in July 2012. There she signed a two-year contract as co-trainer of the B-Juniorinnen-Bundesliga team and as an FCR scout. As of July 2014, she is the head coach of the MSV's youth performance center for women’s soccer teams and is also the head coach of the second team.
