The 3rd generation was a German boy band from Berlin .
history
The trio The 3rd Generation emerged from a casting and consisted of Tolga Ölmez, Julian Strehle and Darko Kordic. The group was awarded the Echo Pop in 1999 as the best young band and was particularly successful in 2000 when Leb! , the theme song for the first season of Big Brother , took first place in the German single charts for two weeks . In the same year, the trio was responsible for the song Glaub an dich , which was produced for KiKA and used in the live broadcast Kikania , among others .
In July 2004 the 3rd generation broke up.
In 2009, RTL II used a remake of Leb as the theme music for the 9th season of the show Big Brother . In 2011, the song was the theme song of the 11th Big Brother season .
Darko Kordic, who later worked as a painter and varnisher, took part as a singer in the fourth season of the RTL show Das Supertalent and was qualified for the finale, in which he was not voted into the top 3.
