Donna Lewis (born August 6, 1973 in Cardiff ) is a Welsh pop singer . She is known for her song I Love You Always Forever , which was also used in the advertising campaign for Windows 95 and later also Amicelli .

biography

Donna Lewis was born and raised in Cardiff, Wales. After graduating from the Welsh College of Music and Drama, she began working as a singer and songwriter in local bands. From 1990 she toured as a soloist (piano / vocals) in piano bars throughout Europe. In a dedicated recording studio, Lewis recorded some demos that made such an impression on Atlantic Records in 1993 that they were offered a recording contract. Her debut album Now in a Minute was a worldwide success, the release I Love You Always Forever became the most played radio single in the USA to date. The single was also used in Germany in an advertisement for Amicelli .

In 1998, the song At the Beginning, sung by her in a duet with Richard Marx , appeared on the soundtrack for the cartoon Anastasia .
