Andru Donalds
Andru Donalds (born November 16, 1974 in Kingston , Jamaica ) is a Jamaican musician and composer who is active both as a solo artist and as a singer in the Enigma music project .
biography
Andru Donalds was born in Kingston, Jamaica. His musical spectrum ranges from pop-rock to reggae and ballads. His musical role models are The Beatles , Prince , Bob Marley , Queen , Michael Jackson and Black Uhuru .
Solo career
Andru left school at the age of 18 and then traveled to England , Holland and New York to gain experience as a singer and songwriter. He then met music producer Eric Foster White, who had already worked with Frank Sinatra , Britney Spears , Whitney Houston and the Backstreet Boys , among others . Together they produced the debut album Andru Donalds . From this the two singles Mishale and Save Me Now were released.
His second album Damned, If I Don't was released in 1997. The song Somebody's Baby was also featured on the soundtrack for Good Will Hunting .
In April 1998 the producer and composer Michael Cretu hired him for his project Enigma. He also produced Donald's third album Snowin 'Under My Skin . From this the two singles All Out of Love , a cover version of the band Air Supply and Simple Obsession were released. Donalds got a gold record for All Out of Love .
In 2001 Donald's fourth album Let's Talk About It was released with the single (I'm Not Your) One Night Lover . In 2005 he was to be found with the song And I Feel on the soundtrack to the film Barefoot . In addition, in the same year he worked with the Ukrainian singer Evgenia Vlasova. A best-of album followed in 2006 with the singles Dreamer and Let the Stars Fall Down , and in 2007 Donalds co-wrote Sandra's single The Way I Am .
