Fox the Fox was a Dutch disco - radio - tape , which in 1981 by the singer was founded Berth Tamaela and silhouette Musmin. Her only big hit was the single Precious Little Diamond .

Band history

Tamaëla and Musmin founded the band in 1981. The members also included bassist Gino Jansen, guitarist Kier van der Werf, keyboardist Roy Kuschel and drummers Robbie Brans, Tjalling Bos and Han Langkamp. Musmin wrote most of the lyrics for the band.

Fox the Fox released the single Flirting and Showing two years after it was founded , which initially flopped. Only after Precious Little Diamond reached 5th place in the German single charts in 1984 did Flirting and Showing rise to a top 40 position. The subsequent singles and albums were unsuccessful.

After Tamaëla left, the band broke up in 1990.

The band's music had a great influence on Modern Talking , in particular Dieter Bohlen leaned his singing on that of Fox-the-Fox singer Berth Tamaëla.
