Fun Factory is the name of several dancefloor - groups from Germany , one after the other came in 1992 with different occupations in appearance.

history

The Fun Factory project was launched in 1990 by Rainer Kesselbauer. In 1992 the first line-up with the four musicians Balja, Steve, Rod D. and Smooth T. They landed their first successful single with Groove Me in 1993. The following year their first album was released. Before the quartet released the next album, Balja was replaced as the group's female face by the French model Marie-Anett Mey . With their second album Fun-Tastic (1994) they became known across Europe and even landed in the US charts. In 1997 Fun Factory released a best-of album, in the same year Smooth T. and Rod D. left the group and Fun Factory broke up. The two remaining members founded the follow-up project "Fun Affairs" with singer Ray Horton, but could not build on their old successes.

In 1998, a group with a new line-up was created under the name Fun Factory: Al Walser , Annett Möller , Lian Ross (Josephine Hiebel) and T-Roc (Terrance Lamont Croom). The first album, Next Generation, sold 100,000 times. The band's success was mainly limited to the Asian region. In 2002, ABC of Music was the second and last album of the new formation, which also disbanded after the record's moderate success.

In the summer of 2008, a new edition of Fun Factory started by the Bremerhaven music producer Rekardo Heilig. The group initially consisted of rapper Douglas, singer and rapper DGS, singer Diana and the dancer / singer Jenna. In 2008 the single Be Good to Me was released , in the same year the group appeared on the ZDF TV garden with Fiesta de Samba . In 2009 the project published the music video for the single Uh la la with a different line-up and performed at the We love the 90's - Part 2 concert in the König-Pilsener-Arena Oberhausen. In 2013 the record company "ZYX Music" released the single On Top of the World . B 'Bang Bang was released in 2014 and Let's Get Crunk in 2015 .
