Laura Schneider (born August 10, 1979 in Munich ) is a German actress , singer and commercial life coach.

Life

Laura Schneider trained as an actress from 1996 in Munich while she was still at school. In 1998 she got into the ARD series Marienhof . Together with Ricarda Wältken , a former member of the pop group Tic Tac Toe , whom she met during a guest appearance at Marienhof , she made the leap into the music industry. In 1999 Laura and Ricky released the single He ist not the right one under the same name , and Schneider stormed the charts for the first time. On the wave of this success, she published as a solo artist in autumn 1999 the ballad Immer wieder , produced by Bernd Sichter , for which Schneider wrote the text himself. She was accompanied by Ron van Lankeren. The single was able to place itself in the German top 10 straight away and stayed at position 3 in the single charts for several weeks . By co-moderating with Mola Adebisi on the music television channel VIVA , Schneider promoted her hit at the same time. For more than 250,000 singles sold in the Federal Republic of Germany, Schneider was able to look forward to a gold record . This was followed by other honors such as the Golden Record in Switzerland, the Golden Tuning Fork from Dieter Thomas Heck and the RSH Gold Music Prize from Radio Schleswig-Holstein. In 2001 she was also awarded a national Echo nomination for best female artist .

In December 2000 Schneider left the Marienhof Ensemble and began 2001 as a leading role in the third season of the ARD series Bei aller Liebe . In 2002 she attended an acting school in London to familiarize herself with the Konstantin Stanislavski method. In the same year she attended professional acting training in Los Angeles. After her return she was u. a. seen in the television series Um Himmels Willen as the daughter-in-law of Fritz Wepper . In 2004 Laura Schneider founded the young talent agency KIDS & STARS ltd. For film and television in Munich. Schneider was the agency's managing director and partner and became a founding member of the Association of German Young Talent Agencies (VdNA), which was founded in 2008. She was also seen in 2006 as the singer Kaye Ballard in ProSieben - telenovela Lotta in Love .

For the soundtrack of the short film Der Schrei - a very everyday story by Carsten Degenhardt, she wrote the song Stiller Schrei in May 2009 , which is about child abuse .

In 2011 Schneider slipped into her role as "Lee Neuhaus" one last time for the ARD early evening series Marienhof , before the format was discontinued by the broadcaster after more than 18 years. In 2017 she played in Los Veganeros 2 .

Activity as a life and health advisor

Laura Schneider has been a yoga teacher since 2012 . Schneider graduated as a Holistic Health Coach at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition New York City, expanded her coaching training with kinesiology specialist training and systemic constellations and received a diploma in 2013 for her certificate as a holistic life coach for vegan vitality foods.

Since 2013 she has been moderating the Vegan Summer Festival in Berlin together with Frank Metzker from weltenfresser.de.
