Lotta & die frohe Zukunft is a German TV film by Gero Weinteuer from 2013 . It is the third episode of the ZDF film series Lotta with Josefine Preuss in the title role. The television series is based on the book The Last Things by Annegret Held .

Lotta wants to study medicine, which is not that easy with a child. She must now learn to come to terms with other people. With life, fellow students and living in a shared apartment. Suddenly Lotta realizes that she has fallen in love.
