Hanno Koffler

Hanno Koffler (born March 25, 1980 in Berlin ) is a German actor and musician .

Life

Koffler was born in Berlin. In 1994 he founded the band Kerosin with his brother Max Koffler , in which he played drums. He got his first film role in the short film My dear Herr Gesangsverein . He then played alongside Lisa Maria Potthoff in Marco Kreuzpaintner's REC .

Shortly afterwards, Koffler made his cinema debut in Anatomie 2 , where he played Willi, who suffered from muscular dystrophy . This was followed by other movies directed by Marco Kreuzpaintner: Absolutely and Sommersturm . In the latter he played the self-confident, emancipated gay Malte.

He started studying at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna , which he completed in 2007. During his acting studies he took on roles in Shakespeare's Hamlet directed by Klaus Maria Brandauer at the Burgtheater in Vienna , in A Midsummer Night's Dream , also directed by Brandauer in Altaussee , in Martin Walser 's larger than life Herr Krott in Munich and in Elfriede Jelinek's Bambiland , which in 2007 with was awarded the Vontobel Prize for the best ensemble performance at the 18th Federal Competition of German-Language Drama Schools in Salzburg and the 2nd Prize at the 4th International Theater Schools Festival in Warsaw.

In 2008, Koffler reported back with three films: He played the leading role in the film Nacht vor Augen von Brigitte Bertele , which was shown as an official contribution to the international forum at the 58th Berlinale. He was then seen in the films The Red Baron and Krabat .

Hanno Koffler continues to play theater roles. In 2010 he played with Erni Mangold in the two-person piece Tanzcafé Treblinka by Werner Kofler at the Nestroyhof Hamakom theater in Vienna. In the 2010/11 season he was a member of the ensemble of the Braunschweig State Theater and appeared in Lessing's Miss Sara Sampson , the self- staged play Mars and as Ficsur in Ferenc Molnár's Liliom .

Koffler has two daughters and lives with his family in Berlin.
