Cornelia Corba (born March 9, 1969 in Munich ), formerly Cornelia Korba , née Cornelia Bayr , is a German actress .

Life

Corba was born Cornelia Bayr on March 9, 1969 in Munich. From the age of five she received ballet and music lessons (guitar, piano, drums). At the age of twelve she became the youngest member of the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich . Three years later she played guitar at the Bavarian State Opera and began training as an actor. At the age of 17, Corba received a musical talent award at the Berlin Theater des Westens . She received a scholarship for musicals from Prof. August Everding at the Deutsches Theater in Munich and studied dance and singing in London .

After first film roles as a child, Corba became known to a wider audience through the movie Nich 'with Leo with Jürgen von der Lippe . She played in more than 100 television productions, including a. in nine crime scenes . She got her first film lead role alongside Peter Sattmann in the television film Das Ziel . Film comedies such as The Golden Boy and It Stays Everything in the Family followed. She played continuous series roles in the TV series The Defiant Head , Familienbande , Moselbrück , Almenrausch and Powder Snow , A woman is hunted , Sylvia - a class of her own and in over 40 episodes of the TV series Die Rote Meile .

Corba lived with Thomas Fuchsberger until his death ; she brings up the son of her deceased sister.
