Hellish Neighbors - Chaos im Hotel is a German television comedy from 2000 that was first broadcast on RTL Television . It is the sequel to the comedies Hellish Neighbors and Hellish Neighbors - Only Women Are Worse .

action

Rudi Falkner is at the end: his wife Meike has left him, the sausage stall owner Willi is blackmailing him and nobody wants to hire him because of his age, because at 33 he is said to be too old to be a programmer. He finds consolation and support from neighbor Gabi Kowalski, who had to close her laundromat and was also left by her husband. When Gabi applied for a job as a maid in a hotel, Rudi was hired because of a dispute between the two siblings Leonie and Marcel Kandt, who run the hotel. However, this should be a competition in which only one should keep his job. Gabi is angry with Rudi. He wants to refuse at first so as not to endanger his friendship with Gabi, but accepts that Willi continues to threaten him.

A guerrilla war breaks out between the two friends, which the hotel in particular suffers. Several bags of rubbish land in the dining elevator, which Rudi then locks and takes out of service. When all of the plants in the hotel are burned, the housekeeper, Mrs. Seifert, wants the two siblings to come to their senses. But both want to assert their candidate at any cost. Meanwhile the war between Gabi and Rudi escalates so much that Rudi almost falls off the roof. The two immediately come to their senses and make peace. When they both want to quit, they learn that hotel owner Brigitte Kandt has announced her visit. They both decide to stay, but only if both get a permanent job with a good salary. In fact, both succeed in simulating an ideal world to Brigitte and hiding all damage. Brigitte is so impressed that she immediately offers them both jobs at her new hotel in the Caribbean. While Brigitte drives away and both are cheering about their new, better future, the hotel explodes due to the gases created in the food elevator.

criticism

"Turbulent (television) comedy based on the popular scheme of German scriptwriters."

Others

In the film, Gabi and Rudi live in the same house as in the second film, which was badly damaged by the war between Meike Falkner and Katharina Buck and should actually be completely renovated. However, none of this can be seen in the film.

A photo of Rudi's family shows that he has two children, although there were three in the first film. In addition, it is mentioned at the beginning of the film that some programs written by Rudi are said to have driven takeaway owners to ruin, although they are considered popular and successful at the end of the second film.
