When it's hot, at least it's not cold is a German comedy by Mark von Seydlitz from 2012 . It is the fourth film adaptation in the Dora Heldt series. The individual films are based on the author's novels of the same name. The television film was shown for the first time on November 11, 2012 in the ZDF Herzkino .

When the 49-year-old Doris Goldstein-Wagner learns that her husband Torsten is planning a big birthday party, she just wants to leave. She persuades her two friends Anke and Katja to go to the Baltic Sea , where Doris was able to hire a life coach. On the spot, they have a lot of trouble with each other and there are permanent arguments between the three women.

When it's hot, at least it's not cold , the film was filmed in Heiligendamm and first broadcast on ORF 2 on November 7, 2012 . On November 23, 2012, the film was released on DVD by Universum .
