Oliver Horns

Oliver Hörner (born April 24, 1967 in Krefeld ) is a German actor .

Life

At the age of 14, the son of an actor couple gained his first film experience through various assistant directors and internships during the school holidays. Three years later he worked for the first time as an actor at the Hamburger Kammerspiele , followed by training as an actor at the New Munich Drama School with Ali Wunsch-König .

From 1987 Hörner took part in various theater productions, including the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm , the Komödie Frankfurt and the Ernst Deutsch Theater . Parallel to his stage work, he is also active in film and television work. His best-known role is that of the on-board mechanic Hauptfeldwebel (later staff sergeant) Jan Wollcke in the television series Die Rettungsflieger . In 2001 he played the role of young John Shiplay in the Rosamunde Pilcher film adaptation of Flowers in the Rain .

Oliver Hörner currently lives with his wife and their two children in Schwarzenbek ( Duchy of Lauenburg district ) near Hamburg .
