Ali Wunsch-König , née Wunsch (born April 24, 1927 in Leipzig ; † March 2, 2008 in Munich ), was a German theater actress as well as the founder and director of the New Munich Drama School .

Life

Ali Wunsch completed her acting training at the drama school of the Städtische Bühnen Leipzig and had her first engagement in 1946 at the Quedlinburg Theater . In 1948 she was engaged in Dortmund , where she met Günther König, with whom she was later briefly married. Until 1959 she was engaged in Frankfurt am Main at the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt , at the Fritz Rémond Theater and at the comedy .

In 1960 she had a guest performance at the Berlin State Opera , went to Munich that same year and founded the Neue Münchner Schauspielschule, a private drama school, together with Johannes Schütz, which she then directed alone from 1965. The school was on the first floor of Kurfürstenplatz  2 , where her apartment was located in the garden house in the backyard.

The wish-king burned, presumably himself, in her apartment, as it suffered relatively little fire damage. After her death, her drama school moved into premises at 15 Dachauer Strasse in Munich .
