Heike Franzen (born February 21, 1964 in Essen ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and former member of the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein.

Heike Franzen heard since 1995, the municipal council of Kropp on. From 2005 to 2017 she was a member of the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein . She was a member of the education and social committee of the CDU state parliamentary group and chairwoman of the parliamentary group's working group on education. She was also a member of the group's executive committee. From October 2015 Heike Franzen was chairwoman of the CDU state parliamentary group in the first parliamentary committee of inquiry of the 18th electoral period on the subject of "Friesenhof".

Heike Franzen entered the state parliament as a directly elected member of the Schleswig-Nord constituency for the 16th electoral period. In the state elections in 2009 she received 41.2% of the first votes .

From 2003 to 2007 she was community representative and deputy parliamentary group leader in Kropp. From 2005 to 2010 Heike Franzen was a civil member of the Schleswig-Flensburg district council. Since 2006 she has been deputy chairwoman of the CDU district association. Heike Franzen is a member of the state board of the CDU in Schleswig-Holstein and has been deputy state chairwoman there since 2013.

Life and work

After completing secondary school , Heike Franzen attended a technical school for social education . She then worked as a housewife and also worked in her husband's financial services business.

Heike Franzen has been married since 1982 and has a son and a foster daughter.

Social offices

Heike Franzen has been the vice-president of the Schleswig-Holstein state traffic watch since 2003 and has been the deputy chairwoman of the foster and adoptive parents' association "Restposten Pflegefamilie eV" since 2004. From 1994 to 2004 Heike Franzen did parental work at district, state and federal level. For six years she was chairwoman of the regional parents 'council and for four years chairwoman of the state parents' council for elementary, secondary and special schools. From 1999 to 2004 she was a lay judge at the youth lay judge's court in Schleswig.
