Georg Lohmeier
Georg Lohmeier , pseudonym Tassilo Herzwurm (born July 9, 1926 in Loh ; † January 20, 2015 in Munich ) was a German writer , playwright , director and actor . He is the author of various plays and television series such as the Royal Bavarian District Court or Zwickelbach & Co. and several plays by the comedy nobility . For a short time he was senior juror on the show Dalli Dalli .
Life
Georg Lohmeier was the youngest of nine children of a farmer and brewer. He attended the cathedral high school and the seminary in Freising . Here he made friends with the later Pope Benedict XVI. He then devoted two semesters to studying theology , which he finished before receiving the minor orders because he met a woman.
He then studied theater studies and art history, among other things . He wrote books about Bavarian history , Bavarian personalities and soon his own plays and radio plays . He became an important employee of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation .
As the founder of the Association of Bavarian Patriots , he stood out in 1974 when he called for Bavaria to return to the monarchy : “The homeland sighs for a beautiful king - not because we absolutely need one, but because it would be nicer!” He was a regular speaker Patriot meeting in Gammelsdorf . As a result of his initiative, King Ludwig Associations were founded in Bavaria and are maintained to this day. However, Lohmeier also recognized the temporary impracticability of a return to the monarchy, and in 1995 he unceremoniously appointed Edmund Stoiber as the “replacement king”.
Lohmeier was a member of the Munich tower scribe and after decades lived in Söllhuben near Rosenheim in Munich. He died on January 20, 2015 after a long illness at the age of 88. His grave is in the Munich North Cemetery .
