Direktion City is a crime series produced by the broadcaster Free Berlin , which was broadcast for the first time by the regional broadcasters of the ARD between 1976 and 1982 . Officials of the permanent detective service of the Berlin Police Department City investigate and clarify.

action

The crime series describes the experiences of the officers of Police Directorate 3 or Police Directorate City in (West) Berlin city center. Dieter Seifert and shift supervisor Bertram together form a patrol team. Her colleagues are Peter Drawinsky, civil investigator Django and the fat man. They settle their cases in an area full of nightclubs and bars, restaurants and hotels, cinemas and theaters, gaming parlors, sex shops and drug clubs. There is enough nutrient for crime here that investigators are often on duty around the clock.

background

The British hit series Task Force Police served as a model for Directorate City . Everyday life in a big city in Berlin was portrayed as realistically as possible, the use of force was largely avoided and the local dialect was not neglected. Since the series was very successful with the audience, it was produced beyond the originally planned episodes.
