Anita Kupsch
Anita Kupsch (born May 18, 1940 in Berlin ) is a German folk actress and voice actress . She gained particular popularity from 1986 to 1996 at the side of Günter Pfitzmann in the ARD early evening series Praxis Bülowbogen in the role of doctor's assistant Gabi Köhler .
Life
The merchant's daughter - her father was the owner of a scrap shop - began training as a beautician after attending high school and was also taught classical ballet and jazz dance by Tatjana Gsovsky . She then completed an acting training at Else Bongers' UFA junior drama school in Berlin in 1960/61 and made her stage debut at the Renaissance Theater in Berlin. This was followed by theater engagements on several stages in Berlin, in Frankfurt and in Hamburg.
From 1963 to 1973, Anita Kupsch was married to the journalist Henno Lohmeyer . Her daughter Daniela Lohmeyer , who was born in 1964 and also works as an actress and voice actress, comes from this marriage . From 1974 she was married to the French production manager Francois Chevreuil for a few years. She has been living with interior designer Klaus-Detlef Krahn for some time.
Career
In 1962 Anita Kupsch made her film debut in Robert Siodmak's escape drama Tunnel 28 . From the following year she also found more work with television. She became known to viewers in the role of Biggi in the series Okay SIR. She gained particular popularity from 1986 in the role of doctor's assistant Gabi Köhler at Günter Pfitzmann's side in the ARD pre-evening series Praxis Bülowbogen , in which she worked until 1996. Other TV productions followed.
In addition, Anita Kupsch worked extensively in the dubbing and lent her distinctive voice a. a. celebrity actresses like Goldie Hawn (traveling with Anita), Liza Minnelli (Rent-a-Cop), Kim Cattrall (Rosebud company) and Amanda Barrie (in the comedies of the British Carry on… series, Is Crazy - Caesar loves Cleopatra and It's crazy - those tired taxi drivers) . In the anime series Captain Future she was the German voice of the secret agent Joan Landor .
