Justitia's small fish is a 52-part cheerful justice series that was first broadcast in two seasons from 1988 to 1990 on Sat.1 .

content

Only the proverbial “little fish” land before the Berlin magistrate Milde. Often it concerns offenses such as insults, neighborhood disputes or minor fraud cases. As an experienced lawyer, Milde knows how to look closely and listen, which is why the proceedings often end with an acquittal, much to the annoyance of the meticulous and paragraph-loyal public prosecutor.

Others

Author Mischa Mleinek wrote the scripts based on the book by journalist Horst Cornelsen Small Fish on Justitias Grill . This in turn was based on the RIAS broadcast series of court reports .

Justitia's small fish was an in-house production of Sat.1 and thus one of the first of its kind on German private television. Season 1 was broadcast on Saturdays at 5 p.m., initially weekly, towards the end of every fortnight. Season 2 was broadcast on Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. at different intervals. Reruns have been shown on Sky Krimi and Sky Cinema Nostalgie since 2011 .

Thanks to well-known Berlin actors, the series was able to come up with a lot of local color. The episodic actors included: Gerhard Wollner , Dieter Kursawe , Wolfgang Spier , Inge Wolffberg , Lutz Moik , Manfred Lehmann , Andreas Mannkopff , Elisabeth Wiedemann , Gisela Trowe , Friedrich W. Bauschulte , Mady Rahl , Gerd Baltus , Eva Brumby and Ulrike Bliefert .
