Inge Wolffberg (also Ingeborg Wolffberg) (born September 6, 1924 in Berlin-Charlottenburg ; † March 4, 2010 there ) was a German actress , voice actress and cabaret artist .

Life

Inge Wolffberg attended the drama school "Der Kreis" (Fritz Kirchhoff School) in Berlin and after the end of the war in 1945 received an engagement at the Landestheater Potsdam . In January 1950 she joined the Berlin cabaret Die Stachelschweine , of which she was a member until the late 1960s. But she also appeared at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm , the Renaissance Theater , the Comedy and the Hansa Theater.

From the mid-1950s, Wolffberg was seen in many feature films. In the second part of the film series Die Lümmel von der Erste Bank , she played the teacher Pollhagen in place of Ruth Stephan . She has also appeared in countless television films and series. In 1991 she played the cleaning lady Mrs. Kleinert in the Lohse house in Loriot's Pappa ante portas . She also took on the role as Aunt Elli in the children's series Löwenzahn .

She was also active in film dubbing and lent her voice to Shelley Winters , Madge Ryan , Rosemary Murphy , Kathleen Freeman , Judith Furse , Hattie Jacques and Joan Sims, among others . In the two Disney animated films Aristocats (1970) and Robin Hood (1973), she took part in each of the speaker Carole Shelley for the figures Amalie Gabble and Lady Kluck ; when Mr. Rossi is looking for happiness she dubbed the fairy. In the German dubbed Star Wars , she spoke Aunt Beru.

Inge Wolffberg spent the last year and a half of her life in a Berlin nursing home.

Inge Wolffberg died on March 4, 2010 at the age of 85 in Berlin. Wolffberg's death did not become known to the public until five and a half weeks later. Her urn was anonymously buried on April 26, 2010 at the Wilmersdorf cemetery in the Berlin district of the same name , grave site C4 II Ug.
