George Kuffs dropped out of high school and left his girlfriend Maya Carlton when she became pregnant. His brother Brad is the owner of the San Francisco Patrol Special security company . George wants to borrow money from his brother. When he is shot dead in his presence, George takes over the management of the company. Turbulent events occur. In the end he is reconciled with Maya and, with the help of Ted Bukovsky, reveals the background to his brother's murder.
Reviews
Desson Howe described the film in the Washington Post on January 10, 1992 as an "un-comedy". The elements of the plot and even the music were "stolen" ("filch") from the other films.
Caryn James wrote in the New York Times on January 10, 1992 that Christian Slater's chuckles would "take millions of teenage girls to heaven" while the rest of the audience would not be bored.
