Anthony Howard "Tony" Goldwyn (born May 20, 1960 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor , director and film producer .

Life

Tony Goldwyn is the son of the film producer Samuel Goldwyn junior (1926-2015) and the actress Jennifer Howard (1925-1993) and a grandson of the film producer Samuel Goldwyn .

He graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton and in 1982 Brandeis University in the state of Massachusetts . In 1990 he was in John Willis' magazine Screen World the most promising young actors ( Promising New Actors of 1990 attributed).

Goldwyn played in the movie Ghost - Message from Sam next to Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore in the film The acts alongside Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington in the film The 6th Day next Arnold Schwarzenegger . He was involved as a director and producer on the film A Walk on the Moon with Anna Paquin . Other films he has directed include Men's Circus with Ashley Judd and Hugh Jackman and The Last Kiss .

Goldwyn has been married to film architect Jane Musky since 1989 and has two daughters. His brother John Goldwyn (* 1958) is a film producer and manager at Paramount Pictures .
