Jane Musky

Jane Musky (born May 27, 1954 in the United States ) is an American film architect .

Originally from the American east coast, Musky attended high school in Maplewood (New Jersey) and received further training at Columbia High School. Jane Musky studied architecture at the University of Boston and then went to England for two years, where she received practical training at the Glyndebourne Festival Opera and the English National Opera . She then returned to the United States and worked as a set designer in New York theaters.

In the early 1980s, Jane Musky moved to Los Angeles, where she initially designed the sets for several television productions. Brothers Ethan and Joel Coen engaged Jane Musky in early 1984 for their film Blood Simple . Since then she has made a name for herself with a few designs for selected films such as the hit comedy Harry and Sally . Her later works were much more conventional and encompass quite different genres.

Jane Musky has been married to actor Tony Goldwyn since 1989 , whom she met that same year on the set of Ghost - Message from Sam . The couple has two daughters.
