action
When the surgeon Charley Nichols returns from his three-month vacation in Hawaii, which he took after the death of his wife, his colleagues do not recognize him. He grew a full beard while on vacation and also made the decision to really enjoy his love life.
From then on, he never misses an opportunity for a casual affair. When the attractive Ann Atkinson is admitted to his hospital after an accident, Charley helps her to a speedy recovery through his intervention, although she is actually not his patient.
Charley and Ann run into each other while filming a television show about the medical profession. Despite some differences, they feel drawn to each other and it doesn't take long before Charley tries his luck with Ann as well.
criticism
“Amusing comedy in the tradition of screwball comedies, with some malicious criticism of doctors and hospitals. Above all, the performances of the leading actors are impressive. "
