Richard Benjamin
Richard Benjamin (born May 22, 1938 in New York City , New York ) is an American actor and director .
Life
Benjamin first played in numerous plays, in some of which he also took over the direction. He became known for his role in the television series He & She , for which he was nominated for an Emmy Award in 1968 . In 1970 he was nominated for the Laurel Award for the role in the comedy Goodbye, Columbus (1969), in which he played one of the leading roles .
For his role in the 1975 comedy The Sunny Boys , he won the Golden Globe Award in 1976 .
Benjamin has been married to actress Paula Prentiss since October 26, 1961 and has two children.
