Paula Prentiss
Paula Prentiss (born March 4, 1938 in San Antonio , real name: Paula Ragusa ) is an American actress .
Paula Prentiss was discovered while studying at Northwestern University and signed a contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1958 . Together with Jim Hutton she played in several screwball comedies from 1960 . Together with her husband Richard Benjamin , she appeared in the television series He & She , for which she was nominated for an Emmy . Prentiss and Benjamin have been married since 1961.
She also starred in the parody Catch-22 - The Evil Trick (1970); In the following years she played increasingly in serious films, but still also in comedies. In the 1980s, the roles became smaller. After a long hiatus from 1996, she was back on the big screen in Hard Four in 2005 .
