Life

Koch grew up in Berlin and attended drama school there. In the post-war years he was one of the founding members of the cabaret Die Stachelschweine . His name also came from him. Even then, he only used the stage name Thierry , originally a common French first name, for appearances in public . For years he worked a lot with Wolfgang Neuss and contributed to his solo programs. Pension Spreewitz

With the popular family series Pension Spreewitz he wrote “a piece of RIAS history”. The series with the subtitle Little Stories in Big Berlin started in 1957 and had a total of 150 episodes.
