Maria Hofen

Maria Hofen , born in Walli Maria Hoffmann , (born March 31, 1886 in Dresden , † September 1970 ) was a German actress .

Life

She received her training at the Senff-Georgi Theater School in Dresden. She made her debut in 1909 as Lady Milford in Cabal and Love . She was on provincial stages until 1923, most recently at the Alten Theater and the Kleiner Theater in Leipzig for five years .

Since 1928 she has been involved in films, including two biographies about the legendary Geierwally (1940 and 1956). Maria Hofen also worked for RIAS Berlin.
