Hanns Korngiebel
Hanns Korngiebel (born July 25, 1902 in Gelsenkirchen , † July 18, 1969 in West Berlin ) was a German actor , screenwriter and director .
Life
Hanns Korngiebel began his artistic career as a painter. In 1926 he made his debut as an actor in Wilhelmshaven , in Berlin he worked as a dramaturge, author, director and actor at the Agnes-Straub-Theater, which later became the theater on Kurfürstendamm . From 1945 he was head of the radio play department and senior director at RIAS Berlin. Almost 200 directorial works are listed in the ARD audio play database. Korngiebel also staged television plays for the SFB and received the Berlin Art Prize for television directing in 1962 .
Hanns Korngiebel died a week before he was 67 and was buried in the Berlin forest cemetery in Dahlem (field 015-262).
