Manny Ziener
Amanda "Manny" Ziener (born October 5, 1887 in Berlin , German Empire , † May 4, 1972 in Berlin, Germany ) was a German actress .
Life
The wife of the actor Bruno Ziener has been on the Berlin stages since 1910 and has also been a film actress since 1912. On stage and in film, she mainly played in comedies and mimed somewhat rough young women in supporting roles. At the Volksbühne she was seen more often as a cabaret artist.
In the 20s Manny Ziener was exclusively a stage actress , but in the 30s she returned to the screen as a supporting actress. In My Friend Barbara (1937), she embodied the mother of the leading actress Grethe Weiser . Ziener also worked for the radio.
