Gerd Holtenau
Gerd Holtenau (born January 21, 1928 - † January 8, 2015 ) was a German actor , radio play and voice actor .
Life
Gerd Holtenau worked as an actor, voice actor and speaker for radio plays for over 65 years. The theaters where he has appeared on stage include the Deutsches Theater Berlin , the Theater der Freie Volksbühne , the Schiller Theater , the Tribüne and the Hansa Theater . In the field of film and television he was seen in Jedermannstrasse 11 , Im Morgenwind , Spring Symphony , The Television Court Meet , Rivals of the Racetrack , Wolff's Revier , Liebling Kreuzberg , City Directorate , Kassensturz , Ada Harris in Parliament . Gerd Holtenau can be heard as a dubbing actor in well over 400 films and TV series and has often directed. You could hear him in leading roles in the TV hits Dallas , Bonanza and The Streets of San Francisco . He was heard in radio plays of the public broadcasters as often as in commercial radio plays.
Holtenau had speaking roles in the radio plays Benjamin Blümchen , Bibi Blocksberg and Bibi and Tina . Around the mid-1960s, he dubbed the films My Wife the Witch , Spokesman Gunn , The Stage Hero and Sam Whiskey Pete. From 1970 to 1977 Holtenau dubbed the following films: Accident in Space , Man Without a Law , The Persecutors , Meeting Point Central Park , Reckless Fliers and Asterix Conquers Rome .
As an actor he was u. a. seen in Didi - The Expert (1988) as a moderator.
Gerd Holtenau died on January 8, 2015, shortly before his 87th birthday.
