Rivals of the Racetrack is a German television series from 1989 with a total of eleven episodes. The director was Stefan Bartmann .
action
The successful jockey Christian Adler mysteriously falls from his horse and injures himself so badly that he has to end his active career. Louise Countess Hayn-Hohenstein then tries to use his knowledge and experience for herself and offers Christian the management of her stable together with the previous manager Wolf Kremer. Business was initially good, especially when the well-known horse owner Hans-Otto Gruber, husband of a Christian affair, left the stable with four horses for training. But the trouble is foreseeable, a brutal game of intrigue around equestrian sport begins.
