Margret Homeyer (born October 7, 1927 in Hagen ) is a German actress .

Life

Homeyer first attended the drama school of the Deutsches Theater in Berlin , followed by an engagement at the theater that lasted until 1961 . In addition to a brief stint at the Dresden State Theater , the actress, who has often featured in comedies, has also been successful in film and television since the 1950s. Until 1961 she played in various East German productions of DEFA and DFF, mainly in the GDR , including as FDJ secretary Fröhlich in Klingenberg's youth film Guten Tag, Dear Tag . After 1961 she worked exclusively in the Federal Republic of Germany, including at Hamburg theaters such as the Deutsches Schauspielhaus and the Thalia Theater , as well as at the Renaissance Theater in Berlin.
