Turf - Almost Impossible Stories is the title of a German television series. The 13, almost half an hour, ran episodes on Tuesdays of 4 September 1984 to 20 November 1984 at WDR - early evening and were in 1990 in the NDR repeated -Vorabendprogramm (every Friday).

The series took place in the environment of horse racing and the environment of the racecourse. Each episode is self-contained and always had different actors. The "almost impossible" stories are about enthusiastic and often unreasonable people or horse lovers who hope for their happiness in life. But also criminal machinations and occasional fantastic ideas (talking horses) created tension and entertainment.
