Henning Gissel

Henning Gissel (born July 23, 1942 in Berlin ; † June 13, 2012 there ) was a German actor .

Live and act

Gissel completed his training as an actor at the Drama School Else Bongers Berlin and at the École de Mime in Paris . This was followed by several engagements, for example at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm and in the Alten Schauspielhaus Stuttgart .

However, Gissel became known to a wide audience through his numerous appearances in films and television series, where he was seen in over 180 different roles between 1967 and 1990. Most recently Gissel took part in the film Der Baader-Meinhof-Complex .

Henning Gissel died on June 13, 2012, just a few weeks before his 70th birthday. He found his final resting place in the state-owned cemetery in Heerstraße in Berlin-Westend (grave location: II-W-9-281).
