Luke Askew

Luke Askew (born March 26, 1932 in Macon , Georgia , † March 29, 2012 in Portland , Oregon ) was an American actor .

Life

Askew began his film career in 1967 and was best known two years later for his involvement in the cult film Easy Rider . The straw-blonde actor - one of the first to wear long hair - has been cast as character actor in over 80 roles, including many westerns . Most of the time, he played a sadistic villain. He also played numerous guest roles in television series . He has often been cast by Bill Paxton .
