Almut Eggert

Almut Spier-Eggert (born June 7, 1937 in Rostock ) is a German actress and voice actress .

Life

She is the daughter of Walther Eggert and Agnes-Marie Grisebach . After secondary school, she first became a qualified beautician. From 1956 to 1959 she took lessons at the Olly Rummel-Pickschneider drama school in Berlin.

In 1958 she made her debut at the Vaganten stage in Berlin, in 1959 she received an engagement at the Kleiner Theater im Zoo in Frankfurt am Main. From 1961 to 1966 she played at the Tribüne Berlin , from 1966 to 1968 at the Theater Baden-Baden , from 1968 to 1975 at the Schillertheater in Berlin, from 1975 to 1977 at the Komödie im Marquardt in Stuttgart and at the Kleine Komödie Hamburg from 1977 until 1983 at the Kammerspiele of the Deutsches Theater in Berlin and then at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm .

Almut Eggert also worked as a radio and voice actress and was often seen in television series. From 1972 to 1973 she was a member of the cabaret “ Die Stachelschweine ”. Among other things, she took on the role of mother of the title heroine in the children's book adaptation of Klein Erna auf dem Jungfernstieg in 1969 , who after a long absence of her husband ( Harald Juhnke ) can celebrate a happy reunion at the end.

Almut Eggert was married to the actor and director Wolfgang Spier from 1959 to 1965 . She is the mother of the actresses and voice actors Miriam Bettina Spier (1960–2008) and Nana Spier (* 1971).
