Götz Naleppa (born December 24, 1943 in Wartenburg i. Ostpr. ) Is a German radio play director , sound composer , dramaturge and translator .

Life

Götz Naleppa was born in East Prussia as the son of the writer Eva Hönick and the advertising salesman Richard Naleppa and grew up in Stuttgart after the chaos of war . He studied theater , German and art history in Berlin and Madrid . 1970 followed his doctorate to Dr. phil. at the Free University of Berlin .

His first professional position was assistant director for five years at the Schillertheater in Berlin during the artistic direction of Boleslaw Barlog . He has been a director for theater and radio drama and as an author and translator (English, French, Spanish).

From 1972 he worked as a director and dramaturge in the radio play department of RIAS -Berlin. In the 1970s Naleppa played a key role in the development of the original audio drama and the artificial headphone drama. Through the collaboration with George Tabori , directing work increasingly oriented towards the actor. In the 1980s he turned to musical and experimental forms of radio plays, as well as radio art and sound composition . His directorial work includes primarily literary radio plays, but also detective radio plays, children's radio plays, radio play series, comedies, musical radio plays, experimental radio plays, short radio plays, features, original audio plays or poems. Coming from the theater, Naleppa has occasionally also taken on theater productions, including a. the musical “In the night all taxis are gray” (Andreas Pflüger) in the GRIPS-Theater, Berlin or the world premieres of “Kreisspiel” and “A labyr is not a labyr” (Arthus C. Caspari) for the Akademie der Künste, Berlin. After all, Naleppa has been the voice director for opera recordings for DECCA for several years.
