Eva Hönick

Eva Hönick (born December 24, 1909 in Berlin , † October 15, 2002 in Stuttgart ) was a German writer .

Life

Eva Hönick was born in Berlin in 1909, grew up in Silesia and studied pedagogy in Halle and Berlin. She worked for a short time as a teacher in Berlin, married during the war and lived in Stuttgart from 1947 until her death in 2002. She has a son and a daughter.

Eva Hönick wrote mostly poems, but also narrative prose and reflections, many of which were published in magazines, anthologies and on the radio. Her subject matter encompasses humor and reflection, has a strong connection to nature and a clear moral and religious component. Even after her death, poems by Eva Hönick continue to appear in magazines. Most of her book publications are out of print, however. The literary estate is administered by her son Götz Naleppa in Berlin.
