Hans-Albert Martens
Hans-Albert Martens (actually Martin Arbelt ; born July 25, 1906 in Graudenz , West Prussia , † January 8, 1986 in Berlin ) was a German actor and radio play speaker .
Act
Hans-Albert Martens attended secondary school in Beuthen and later received private lessons. He made his first appearances as a theater actor at the Landestheater Halle (1926–1927). This was followed by engagements at the Stadttheater Bautzen (1929–1930), the Stadttheater Würzburg (1930–1932), the Stadttheater Memel (1932–1934) and between 1934 and 1944 at the city theaters of Beuthen, Bielefeld , Mainz , Aachen and Nuremberg . His role was mostly that of the youthful hero and life artist. In the war years of 1944 and 1945 he was called up as a soldier at the front. After 1945 he initially made guest appearances in Nuremberg, Ingolstadt , Erlangen , Heidelberg and Bremen . From the beginning of the 1950s he worked mainly on the Berlin stages ( Theater am Kurfürstendamm , Hebbel Theater , Renaissance Theater , Schaubühne am Halleschen Ufer ), where he appeared in Goethe's Faust , Macbeth and Othello by Shakespeare or in Dr. med. Job Praetorius by Curt Goetz appeared. According to evidence, he worked for film and television until 1973 and also took part in various ZDF series . His first radio play recording was made in 1926.
