Algebra at eight is a school television series by ARD . In the 19 episodes, the fates of adults who want to catch up on their Abitur at evening school are described . The first broadcast took place in 1972 and 1973 in the regional programs.

concept

The evening school staff consists of director Lenz, teacher Hellmund, Dr. Delius and Dr. Veith is convinced that second education offers many adults better professional prospects for the future. With different teaching methods, they are committed to their students, whose individual fates are the focus of the episodes. With the same school staff, the story of a different student is told in each episode.
