Günther Schramm (* 18th February 1929 in Potsdam ) is a German actor , radio speaker , voice actor , television host , comedian and singer .

Life

As the son of the doctor Günther Schramm , he grew up in Hamburg . He had a brother and sisters. Schramm studied from 1950 to 1951 at the State University for Music and Theater Hamburg . In 1952 he got his first engagement with the literary cabaret Die Buchfinken . Various theater roles followed, especially on Hamburg theaters ( Thalia Theater , Young Theater , Hamburger Kammerspiele ).

Schramm has been working as a television actor since 1952. He became famous from 1968 in the role of Walter Grabert as an employee of Kommissar Keller in the popular television series Der Kommissar .

In 1952 he also began his activities as a radio play speaker, with a focus on the 1950s and 1960s, mainly for the NWDR Hamburg and the NDR . An exception was his participation in a dialect radio play , namely in Julia un de Renaissance , where he u. a. next to Hartwig Sievers , Otto Lüthje and Uwe Friedrichsen could be heard.

From 1968 to 1970 he hosted the ARD show Baden-Badener Roulette once a year , from 1973 to 1981 the ARD rate series Alles oder alles and from 1981 to 1985 on ZDF the quiz show Do you recognize the melody? . In 2006 he appeared in a guest role in the episode "Shanghai-Burma" of the ZDF series Das Traumschiff (first broadcast January 1, 2007). From 2007 to 2013 he had an ongoing role in the ZDF television series Forsthaus Falkenau . In 2017 he played a suspect in the TV series SOKO Munich .

Schramm has been married to actress Gudrun Thielemann since 1958 ; The son born in 1959 comes from the relationship into which she brought a son (* 1955). Günther Schramm is also the father of a daughter (* 1954) from his first marriage. From 1982 to 2001 Günther Schramm lived on Vancouver Island in Canada . Today the family is back in Grünwald near Munich .

Awards

Günther Schramm was awarded a Bambi in 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1975 . In 1974 the Tobacco Forum named him Pipe Smoker of the Year .
