action

Suzanne Vale is a drug and pill addict actress who has once again been released from rehab and is now trying to re-launch her acting career in Hollywood .

When she got a new role, the production company of her latest film made the condition that she moved in with her mother Doris Mann during the entire filming and lived with her there. The problem with this is that Vale has always had a complicated relationship with her mother, a former star whose daughter has been in the shadow of her life.

So Vale not only has to find herself with a mediocre production or the fight against her drug addiction, her mother also complicates her life again properly.

Reviews

“An initially bitterly angry description of Hollywood, which gives way to a happy ending towards the end, and a film for excellent actors who are brilliantly cast against their role cliché. The real 'star', however, is the cameraman Michael Ballhaus, whose work makes the dream of the cinema come true. "
