Christian Kohlund
Christian Kohlund (born August 17, 1950 in Basel ) is a Swiss actor .
Life
Kohlund is the son of the actors Erwin Kohlund and Margrit Winter , his sister Franziska Kohlund was an actress and director. He completed his training at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna and then worked at many theaters. Important stations in his career were the Munich Residenztheater , the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna, the Freie Volksbühne in Berlin, the Schauspielhaus Zurich and the Ernst Deutsch Theater in Hamburg. He also studied in the English university city of Cambridge .
In addition to numerous theater tours, Kohlund also worked in film distribution. He worked as a producer, director and cameraman and began his career as a television actor during the 1970s. At the beginning of his film career, Kohlund made several films such as The Pedestrian with Maximilian Schell (1973) or The Bridge of Zupanja (1975) and was seen in the 1977 film The Chinese Miracle alongside Heinz Rühmann and Senta Berger . In 1983, based on a true story in the German-German tragic comedy Once Ku'damm and Back, he played the head chef Peter Gross of the Swiss embassy, who fell in love with a GDR citizen and wanted to smuggle her to West Berlin .
