Elke Best
Elke Best, real name Elke Droßard, now Kohlund (born December 18, 1956 in Duisburg ) is a former German pop singer .
Life
Best grew up in Duisburg. From 1972 she was a singer in the Cologne group "Sandwich". Peter Maffay and Michael Kunze produced several solo recordings with her. Her music was later produced by Gunter Gabriel . Her biggest hit was Die Babies krieg 'noch ich ich in autumn 1976. At the end of the 1970s she moved to Hamburg , where her record company was based and Gunter Gabriel was based there. In the early 1980s, Best retired from the hit business.
She has been married to the actor Christian Kohlund since 1982 , with whom she has two grown children (a daughter and a son). Her first marriage with the Hamburg pimp Thomas Born had failed.
