Confusion of the Heart (Italian original title: Dove comincia il sole ) is an 11-part Italian television series that was created in 1997 by Mediaset in coproduction with ZDF . The first season has six, the second five episodes. The main roles are cast with Anja Kruse , Christian Kohlund , Barbara De Rossi and Jean Sorel . Directed by Rodolfo Roberti .

The series is about two befriended couples with two children each. The man of one couple falls in love with the other woman, who also has feelings for him, but does not want to endanger the marriages. Both families go through a number of difficult events together.
