Barbara De Rossi (born August 9, 1960 in Rome ) is an Italian actress .

Life

Barbara De Rossi, daughter of an Italian wine importer and his German wife, was born in Rome but spent much of her childhood in Rimini . In 1976, the then sixteen-year-old won a beauty contest . The president of the jury was the Italian director Alberto Lattuada , who cast her in 1978 in her debut film Bleib wie Du bist (original title: Così come sei ) as the daughter of leading actor Marcello Mastroianni .
